  Masterclass in subtlety. The dialog, especially between Sophie and Calum, giving us bits of context indirectly (“do you ever feel down”, “Cleopatra committed suicide”, “I’ve done all the drugs”, “Can’t see myself at 40”). The shot of Sophie seeing the two boys making out in secret, after we see her waking up with her partner (love the scene switch to the rug), knowing this is an early exposure to something that will be big part of her life.
