I don't know how you over-romanticize westerns, but the nineties made it their mission to do it. Worth watching for some killer performances, but incredibly forgettable story-wise.

Finally a story that realizes some of the potential of Predator as a concept. Set it anywhere, anytime. The creature is literally an alien force, an immovable object that arrests normalcy, and creates a space for true heroes and true villains to rise, as a bid for survival starts.
The only parts I didn't enjoy were when atmosphere and logical sense were sacrificed for visuals, but I guess producers have to have their needless eye candy.Translated from by
