Initially from a first glance, Personal shopper could be a film viewed as a deeply diverting expression of a character suffering from grief. In the times after loss, everything is amplified. Tensions run high, our characters our questioned, indubitably the powerful feelings of sadness and depression come to the fore, but so does reflection.
