(Japan) Truly felt impenetrable for someone that knew nothing about Detective Conan going in, but that's a me issue. The core mystery itself was pretty difficult to follow, but there was some fun beats and action throughout. It was a-okay.

(Canada) This exciting, fun idea I had to embrace multicultural animation is turning out to be a fucking nightmare. Watching this movie is like when your sock gets wet and you can't take it off because you're out so you're just sitting in it. This is one of the worst films I've ever seen.
A complete say-nothing do-nothing, poorly shot, poorly directed, unmovingly performed, unfilnchingly derivative waste of fucking time. A Complete Unknown feels like the vapid soulless Hollywood musical biopic leading male vehicle machine on autopilot.
I wish I could even say that I liked Timothee Chalamet, but he's given nothing. I'd love to ask the people that nominated Chalamet for actor what singular moment in this movie that they felt moved by his performance, other than moved by the fact that he's the talented movie star darling of today.
Genuinely embarrassing.
