  What a little gem. Was not expecting this to be as good as it was. I wasn’t really feeling the both leads at the beginning as their characters just felt a bit too much on the asshole side, but the more I spent time with them, the more they became lovable characters.   Not gonna lie, I hated this so much that I walked out of the theater mad. I truly don’t know how this was made. How can you show us one brutal act of violence towards a black queer person and then proceed to humanize HIS ABUSER for almost 2 hours. Just ridiculous. 

  So many weird fucking things, and fetishes around stereotypes, and use of gay sex as shock value instead of just sex. Big fucking ick. I’m not entirely familiar…
