    Watched on Error4444 blu-ray.

Definitely an Error4444 release. Weird as fuck, low budget Japanese body feminist horror with weird tonal shifts with the comedy. The police were pretty funny at times though, but would also have some goofy PS1 sounding music. Damn that closing credits song absolutely rips. I definitely enjoyed, and it was a perfect length.

Watched at AMC Theatres in IMAX.

I think this was OK. The strengths were Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, the cinematography, and the splatter horror - which Fede Alvarez is pretty damn good at. The bad: boring first act, the blatant fanservice, and some horrible CGI. The horror elements are good, got a lot of people jumpy in the room. I'd say maybe watch it at home with a good sound system.

Watched this on the UK standard blu-ray edition from Arrow Video. Default audio option was a combo of Italian and English.

This is the sixth Argento movie I’ve watched (and really the sixth in the past few months), and the third giallo of his. While I’ve always enjoyed his movies for the visual appeal, storytelling has not been very strong. I watched Cat…

Watched this on Criterion Collection blu-ray.

I remember really liking this the first time I watched this ~10 years ago on Criterion Collection DVD. I didn't really know it back then, but I really dig a 'cockian thriller, and this a damn good one. The buildup to that ending was good, and that ending was really executed. It shocked the fuck out of me years ago and it's still great now. I don't know why I haven't seen anything else from Clouzot, but I should. The intro on the blu-ray is really good too.
