    Very good movie, moving and well acted (although Jesse Eisenberg is becoming a bit of a cliche as time goes by, he seems to be always playing the same part, a 21st century Woody Allen). The relationship between the two cousins (which somehow reflect friendships between men in general) is the high point, Eisenberg’s writing is acute and perceptive. And Culkin is great: it is hard to separate him from Roman Roy, but even with some of the same tics…

    I loved this movie, although I resisted seeing it for a while, thinking that perhaps it was some sort of politically correct pamphlet. What you get instead is a very moving portrait of the trans experience, at least for me, the first time I truly felt that I could approach such a difficult subject.     Silly little movie. Style over substance (and not that great a style, at that). Tricks that are getting old (deafening sound, a restless camera, loud colors) to cover up a lack of something interesting to say about an “important” subject. Demi Moore is good, but that is definitely not enough.
