This movie was not for me. I saw this at Telluride 2023 where Ethan Hawke introduced the movie. He is clearly charismatic and a gifted salesman because it made me excited to see what was in store. It didn’t hold up for me. Cooper Hoffman felt like a standout, and I enjoyed the scenes when Laura Linney was playing Flannery’s mother Regina.
