I think this movie will grow on me more and more on continuous watches, wonderful movie and it's very much needed in todays culture, however on first viewing I didn't love this as much as Selicks other works. Let's talk about the art style though!!! The beautiful shapes and colors and clear influence of cubism and punk it's very well blended and I'm so excited for the future of animation. The Batman, oh man what can I say about this behemoth of a movie, it clocks to almost 3 hours and I didn't even feel the length. I was hoping for more and more, the batman is a beautifully dark gothic film that I've been craving since first watching the Burton films, unfortunately throughout Batmans appearance in live action media he hasn't been in this asthetict that I adore, until now.
