  I love both NIИ and subversive horror films a whole bunch. This perfectly reflects Trent’s attitude at the time, pure unbridled rage and an urge to piss everyone off. It’s really fucked up and intense, but personally nothing here really bothered me. Happiness In Slavery was my favorite short just because it felt like it had the most purpose and meaning, but Pinion struck me the most internally and made me a little weary of what was coming. Overall, if you like early NIИ, I recommend it, but it’s definitely not for the faint of heart.
