A bone-chilling, spine-tingling, genre-redefining, slow burn gem of a film. Anyone with functioning eyes must watch this before they die. I liked the part with all the monkeys.

The film starts off pretty strong. The visuals are interesting, the music fits the scenes well, and the acting is pretty well done. However, the story starts getting confusing and disorienting after the first time skip. If the story were a bit more coherent and compelling, I would have given the film a higher rating. Still, this film is worth watching for those interested in drama, adopted children, Seoul, and art-house type movies.
