End credits have never made my heart accelerate before Cure.
This movie is attempting to hypnotize the viewer through sight and sound. Droning washing machines, railroad lights blinking, fire, water, clouds are all meant to get in your head to make it itchy and force you to scratch it. I think I saw a literal pocket watch (or something resembling one) swinging like a pendulum on a statue during one of the wide shots (keep an eye out for it).…Translated from by -

I love this movie but you can tell the studio chopped apart Raimi’s vision, especially in the windmill scene. Also, I watched some alternate version where lines were changed and scenes were added. Still fun though.
