Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
I think this is Marty's more technically challenging movie, the cinematography is mesmerizing even in the most trivial scenes. It's amazing how sensibly the Osage culture is shown. The portrayal of the killers is so cold, feels so uncomfortable to be in the perspective of the white men who dehumanize a whole community, their insensibility towards people that share their everyday lives with them, and how they perceive themselves as tokens of civilization when they are the cruelest animals around.
