  There are multiple moments when a robot transforms into a car and the camera lingers on the car in the exact way it does in a Chevy commercial. You can just about hear Bob Seger singing on the wind that blows the dust up so dramatically. Ohhhh like a rock!

  Proof that high quality ingredients can't fix a shitty recipe. The script is a mess. The escapes are so improbable that even the most flexible suspension of disbelief will incur stress fractures. Rachel Weisz takes a fully clothed bath for some reason. The grand conspiracy never makes any sense. Should be Big Dumb Fun, instead it's just a big yawn.

  Best line, the FBI agent saying the quiet part out loud: "Murder is not a part of national security. At least, not domestically.
