The Brutalist 2024
Easily a top three American movie of the century. This is an absolutely immense film that’s completely self indulgent in the most beautiful ways. Adrien Brody delivers one the greatest acting performances ever, and Felicity Jones’ performance isn’t far behind. This is such a sincere and brutal (hehe) examination of the American dream, I was left speechless with much to think about. It may be one of the easiest movies to Appreciate that I’ve ever seen. This is the kind of movie that should be getting made, that we need a lot more of these days.
