Such a magical movie, admittedly a little cliche in some ways, but this was so beautiful in many other ways.  A lot of heartfelt moments and mutual respect and love between the 2 leads.  I and so many others can relate to the themes and they tug at my heart thinking of my life and the lives of these 2 in this magical fairy tale. I also just love what Hurwitz does with the music here and in every one of their movies, it’s so gorgeous

Really decent documentary, some cool insights into the early formation of the band. There were definitely a lot of just raw songs which I love, but nothing special, didn’t add too much to the story of the band. Besides the John Bonham unreleased tapes that was freaking awesome.  This would probably get a better review but the sound mix was off, my theater was so loud during the songs it was unbearable, as much as I love LZ some of the songs I had to close my ears during.

It's so jarring at points just how inhumane these "gods" treated their people. Just a beautifully told story with amazing cinematography, sound design and acting from all the leads.
    Additionally I keep thinking about…

The Brutalist is an absolute triumph in cinema offering a captivating and imaginative perception of the American dream and life for Jews after the holocaust. From the opening sequence, the picture of a sideways and upside down Statue of Liberty, sets a theme that the American dream is a difficult and long road. Even for someone who stumbled into as much luck, opportunity and good fortune as Laszlo Toth, forces around him keep subjugating him into a nightmare. For his…
