The Brutalist 2024
Damn this movie truly sucked. I can't think of a movie that spoke the language of high cinema without delivering on any promise. Part 1 was ok, certainly the best part though a lot of pointless hero's journey cliches and completely unnecessary scenes. Part 2 is a shitshow, somehow feeling rushed even at 90 minutes. The pivotal scene at the end comes completely out of nowhere and seems to render the early part of the movie fairly pointless. Part 3…
