TL;DR - This is a banger, everyone’s just butthurt.
I bet a lot of people went into this film expecting to see the Joker develop from ‘the guy who shot Murray Franklin’ into the iconic Crown Prince of Crime, with Harley Quinn by his side. Many people probably looked forward to something more like Bonnie & Clyde, or hoped to get excited watching Arthur fully embrace his Joker persona, or at least just expected an action film.
