The film had some issues—too long, too tidy an ending, and notably weak supporting characters. But I found it great fun regardless, especially for Pattinson’s performance and Bong Joon Ho’s Terry Gilliam-esque sci-fi visuals.
So much funnier and squirmingly vulnerable than I expected. The three leads hit it out of the park. And it was unexpectedly great to watch with an audience—the laughter and gasps added to the experience.
