Maggie's story deeply moved me. It demonstrates that it's never too late to get what we deserve and that everyone has a place in the world.
This film is a celebration of authentic love, intertwined with everyday life, joy, and pain. Even at the age of 84, we never stop learning about ourselves and our lives.
*A note of appreciation for how the film gives equal space to both protagonists, even in its form, echoing Joel's style in the shots and drawing inspiration for the soundtrack from Maggie's musical flair.
