  A plastic echo of great films that hold historic value because of their innovations can’t do much besides recreating aesthetics if it doesn’t have a heart of it’s own. What starts as an alluring homage to the craft of the past ends up leaving more of a feeling of fetishized techniques than a labor of true love.
