  The Great Gatsby 2013

  It’s a good movie, but it does not compare to the book. The addition of some songs just make the movie weird and out of place. It’s a fun movie to pass time, but not one to watch again. I guess it is considered a classic, and I do recognize that. Would not necessarily recommend 👍👎

  Dune: Part Two 2024

  It took me a long time to actually write this review because I don’t actually know what to say.

  I, influenced by watching the first film, got 100% invested in the Dune story. I actually read the first book, something that for me is quite a feat, and now can say that I am discombobulated by the magnitude of this story. 

  I guess now I now what to say about this movie, and there are 2 things:

  The Pianist 2002

  An extremely sad movie, apparently based on a real story, am not sure, depicting real loss and struggle. Despite being  sad, the ending is heartwarming, but you do end up remembering Wladyslaw’s family. It is one of the movies I am eager to watch again later. Would recommend 👍
