  I saw a trailer of this movie when I was 11 or 12 years old around 2010 or 2011, expecting a neo-noir pulp crime film with a meta commentary on comic books and the value in comic books, the story was there, but it was handled loosely, wildly that made the execution disappointing and answers left confusingly either answered or unanswered. For example I was expecting Conan, the mastermind and antagonizer of the film, to get killed or more involved…

  Barbie 2023

  ★½ Rewatched 12 Dec 2024

  The first movie that made me leave with the biggest migraine. Just because you have this one speech about the complications of being a woman, doesn’t mean you’ll make it to the Oscars. Why is this a box office hit I don’t know, but the only thing that made it interesting was Ryan Gosling’s Ken, who had a better fish out of water story than Barbie herself.
