The landscape shots for this film are stunning and the acting is well done. However, the pacing is a little slow and the lack of score for a majority of the film does not help with that.
The visuals for this film are absolutely stunning. They did a tremendous job capturing Africa from both land and air. Jon Barry's score matches the grandeur of the land, and the authentic tribal music helps immerse you in the story. I felt the pacing was a touch slow. However, the slow pacing adds to the feeling of life outside of a major civilization.
The Peanut Butter Falcon is a great story that draws you in making you feel like you are a part of their stitched together family. It's a look at life from a slowed down pace were the simple moments matter and where memories are made. It's a reminder that everybody is on a journey growing in character and that lessons can come from sources we may not expect. When all is said and done you carry the story with you into your real life just like all films inspire you too.
