  Lyrical and unabashed, Salut Les Cubains is a bona fide love letter-- to a people, to their revolution, to everything after. Nothing speaks more to the sheer genius of the filmmaker than the sense of movement and colour in what is a black and white film comprised entirely of stills. Viva, Varda!
