Autumn Sonata 1978
I didn't want this film to end.
It overflows with emotions that put us in a state of ecstasy as we watch dialogues full of feeling.
Each conversation and monologue was so well-written that you could quote it everytime. Fantastic camera work on closeups to capture characters emotions and wide shots to let the audience have a moment to breathe.
And fuck it, if Liv Ullmann doesn't deliver some of the best, if not the best acting I've ever seen (yes, DDL from there will be blood has competition here!!)
I know that for many years I will end up revisiting that performance on YouTube.Brilliant!
