  The camera was invented for Joan in this movie. Other movies, too, but she is otherworldly here. Still, the pacing is a snooze. Had me at the back of my seat. Life is the bubbles whenever we get Marie Prevost. But during that loooong third act, I was hoping for Stany to show up and do them awwl in.
