with a spectacular direction, exquisite soundtrack, this film challenges the thinking of what makes someone choose how to behave, but in a society where one can feel unseen, unheard, unspoken to, does it really matter? at this stakes any response, good or bad, from anyone or anything becomes important. who didn’t ever want to seek for attention when in a lonesome period the only one that seems to be talking back to you is the empty city of the night time.

Blade Runner 1982
a neo-noir sci-fi that covers philosophy, sociology, humanity and more. using architecture, lighting, sound it builds a visually striking reality, but without all the robotics and technology of the film the main question of the story remains: what makes a person truly human, what makes someone worth living, is it ethnicity, sexuality, beauty, morals? some may answer with precision, for me all this answers may be as subtle as tears in rain.

Casablanca 1942
a film that defines the word classic, a timeless masterpiece. with the best screenplay, cinematography, direction, acting… this film has it all, but foremost the greatest love story of all time. it deals with passion and tragedy, and at its core, the dream of a better future, and don’t we all want that? whether the shadows represent the past and the light the ahead, the choice is yours. despite all, i’m much happy to say: we’ll always have casablanca.
