This movie was sooo great. Funny, troubling, engaging, a fair amount of what the fuck moments but also maybe not as many as I was expecting? The dancing scenes cracked me up.
Olivia Coleman stole the screen every second. Well deserved Oscar. So relatable because if I were Queen I too would throw tantrums at every moment
All these characters were so compelling in different ways. Loved this movie so so so much.
Steve Carell was moving, Toni Collete so lovable, Abigail Breslin endearing, Greg Kenear (sp?) was unlikable and then had a great redemption, Paul Dano was good relief and so relatable as he was bearing the unbearable.
Overall this movie was so uplifting and also very real. Laughs throughout, but not cheesy or predictable.
