I really enjoyed the beginning of this film - Grant's monologue about the major religions and belief vs. disbelief was beautifully delivered and the creepy aura was played out fantastically.

You know I'd like to review this from the perspective of "oh this was meant for an audience in the 80s yadda yadda yadda" but jesus fucking christ how was this not a "this aged poorly" movie when it released???? I'm pretty sure there's no more than 5 minutes of time in this movie that they managed to go without making a racist or homophobic joke, or just committing a straight up felony against someone. Who said "you know what makes nerds look better? Assault!"
