    Crazy Thunder Road

Riding through the industrial wreckage at many miles per hour, wreaking havoc everywhere it goes, at the sound of punk rock music flowing through the metallic veins of the bikers.

Radicalism is at the core of Crazy Thunder Road. Punks fueled by anarchism and counterculture, constantly fighting, directly or indirectly, against the authoritarian state attempting to constrict the movement, right-wing nationalists recruiting disillusioned people, offering "relative safety" and combat training in exchange for losing their defining characteristics as individuals and…

A computer can never fully capture the emotions of humanity.

A genuine love-letter to Tetsuo: The Iron Man, capturing the frantic energy of it, but whereas that film revels in the abstract metallic chaos (to great results), A.I. Mama is more content on pouring layers of human emotion on top of its monochrome steel (to great results, too).

    Fantastic Planet

While watching Fantastic Planet, I felt echoes of some of my favorite pieces of media, including ones so stylistically foundational to my life like Machinarium, In The Court of the Crimson King and Star Wars. I'd also like to mention Dr Seuss and even Xenogears.

Maybe it's just the fact that I love when science fiction explores alien worlds and attempt to create a truly otherworldly atmosphere.

It feels like such a large universe with endless opportunities.

This is actually about someone who's so obsessed with The Adventure of Denchu Kozo he cosplays himself as one of the cyborg vampires from it and plays with Tomorowo Taguchi pretending he's doing those awesome chase sequences from Denchu Kozo in real life.
