This was my first Bollywood movie. I was just a kid back then and I was too young to really understand and appreciate it, so I decided to rewatch it again.
I cried at least 3 times (I stopped counting after the third one).
The casts were great! And I really like some of the songs too. Now I see why this is considered a classic.

Animation is great and unique! Really cute and comfy show.
However, I can't help but keep comparing it to Liz and the Blue Bird, which is another movie from the same director that I really liked! This movie feels like a step down from that. Log date says August but I actually watched it around a month or 2 ago, just didn’t get around to writing something about it.
Great cinematography! Definitely a film you need to watch and study if you wanna learn about that aspect of filmmaking. This film is notable for its use of 70mm film and you could tell how the director and cinematographer made good use of the film format and created incredible shots that still looked great even by today’s standards.
My only disappointment when I watched the movie was that my TV wasn’t big enough.
