On my first watch of this film, I remember being relatively unimpressed by this film, but having seen it out of order, and with little understanding of what was happening, I’m not that surprised.
Watching it again, it is definitely a fun film, putting some events in place for the revised timeline, although, as it is set in the past, the fates of characters are relatively easy to determine.

Everything right about the prior Wolverine films is repeated and perfected in this truly beautiful film. Dafne Keen portrays the films version of Laura Kinney/X-23 in a captivating and unique manner that’s is well deserving of the many accolades it received.
A truly heartfelt tribute to a character that has been played so beautifully by Hugh Jackman, closed off nicely as the fox era comes to an end. One can only hope that when Disney inevitably brings these beloved characters…
Amazing! Would have been good even if it wasn’t a deadpool film. Probably have a bias towards X-23, but damn it’s an enjoyable film.

A truly wonderful film, bouncing back between future and past, and making the “time travel” easy to understand, both in its use, and ramifications. McAvoy plays Charles very well, as a broken man on a path to become the Professor he is to become. It was cool to see the Sentinels, both in their classic purple colouring, and the sleek futuristic design.
