Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone 2001
Rewatching while I do my studio work, kids are cute and it’s fun to see the basis of established motifs.
For some reason I resonated with the later movies more as a kid (probably because I was able to see the last few in theaters, after having already read the books). So it was fun to see this one with basically fresh eyes. It’s fun, simple, to the point 👍

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
Loved this a lot! It’s so cool seeing an animated project with such artistic integrity being pushed by a major studio (it’s probably because it’s IP, but still small wins lol). Animation is obviously killer, loved the new character designs, especially Spider-Man 2099 he gives such visual contrast.
I think the cold open with Gwen was really well done and same with the reintroduction to Miles, music throughout was great and Mumbattan was really cute. I like where they took…
