The Brutalist 2024
Tbh I thought this was a true story til I looked it up afterwards. I think a lot of thought went into it and it was beautiful shot and done, def had some shocking moments.
I would give it a 3.5 for enjoyment but I’ll give it an extra half for how well done it was.

This one merits a rewatch for sure
Interesting first person POV, not sure how I feel about it as a watcher but I like the immersive feel you get.
Cinematography was p good
The twist at the end (which I unfortunately saw coming a little earlier bc of the skin reveal at the bar) was still great
It felt like a documentary, not fiction. The clips of evidence were a really cool touch

2.5/5 for enjoymentIt was a LOT of gore. Could handle it for the first hour/hour and a half but it got pretty tough towards the end. Left the theatre pretty shook tbh
