Captain America: Brave New World managed to exceed my admittedly low expectations. Lots of the dialog seemed forced, but most of the action scenes pick up the slack. Fortunately, I’ve seen enough of the MCU where I understood the references, but a casual super hero movie goer may be lost on many of the plot lines. Overall, I’d call CABNW an average film. A big comic book movie fan may want to check it out in the theater, but it can absolutely wait a month or two for Disney +.
