The handshake, moneyprinting and some other scene got me, I must admit. But the rest is a weird mixture of children-level jokes about civil patterns that only grownups are aware of... maybe it worked for families then.
As a satire of Star Trek it doesn't work as in the utopia, art is also a big part of culture and acceptance, but here, they are constantly overwhelmed and surprised.

Der Zauber war leider nach all den Jahren für mich verschwunden, in der Erinnerung war das alles rascher, intensiver, hübscher. Allerdings dürfte die ganze (im Tempo sehr seltsame und unterschiedlich sauber animationsgearbeitete) Handlung für Kinder mehr Effekt erzeugen.
Der Käfer ist bisweilen eine anstrengend erratischer Antipath, ansonsten sind die Figuren aber halbwegs kreativ und sehenswert. Das Finale ist doch schon ziemlich heavy und abrupt vorbei- als Traum-Story ist das aber auch okay.
