Great movie. Saw it as part of a valentines season double feature with Heart Eyes. Felt a lot for Iris’ character. Felt bad for her as she learns more and more about her situation/set-up. Josh is an appropriate scumbag. Small things like his story to the cops and his reaction to Iris’ insults make him feel like a real asshole. He’s also a giant idiot who botches the plan first chance he gets. Love it.

Perfect horror rom-com. Satisfying kills, a main couple with chemistry and a Fast and Furious reference. Cinema.

Gladiator II 2024
I don’t think anyone in this movie had a character arc. I didn’t need them all to, but one would have been nice. They all either die as part of the coup or fulfill one job before the end of the movie. Still, the coliseum battles were awesome and the continued narrative from the first gladiator was nice. Just wish his story wasn’t so similar to Maximus’.
