  This documentary has such an important message against consumerism -- buy less, fix more, keep companies accountable, etc. -- but it was presented in a problematic way. 1) the AI thing seems to be a distraction that (as seen here) people latched onto so easily and also makes sure that the blame is put on the abstract "system" and 2) the message seemed overly cheerful/hopeful ("we can still do something to fix it!") which seems to be the very control…
