  so much weirder and funnier than I expected and so beautiful I genuinely don’t know what there is to dislike here. this feels like a movie that’s too good to be real. a cast of all time in a weird sci-fi political satire fighting for the power of love and coexistence. what a dream. (also another movie full of naomi ackie screaming!!! amazing!!!)

  this looks like a tv show from 2012 made in response to the walking dead’s popularity. the cinematography is bad. there is not one beautiful shot in this movie. the writing is horrible. the pacing is ridiculous and the mystery of the gorge is revealed in the first act. they must have blackmailed anya for this one because she does not even seem to be trying, but her character’s only personality trait is immediately being hopelessly passionately in love with a man she sees from a thousand feet away so there wasn’t much to work with anyway
