Of all the found footage I'm watching on Tubi this has to be one of the better of the lot. Likeable characters and fun dynamics, funny and endearing. Was happy to sit in the cosiness of it all, however when the cosiness ends and the frogman cometh there are so many fun moments. How is this sitting at a 2.7? This should be like a 3.1 minimum.

Feels like Kiyoshi Kurosawa just wanted ro make a movie to try out some rad lighting techniques and shoot some beautiful reflections and ended up making one very spooky banger.
Def using techniques he perfected in Pulse and Cure. Every shot, all the set design, it is worthy of framing and putting on a wall, it's a bit distracting.
It gets rather bleak by the end and a little silly and loses its momentum with 30 mins to spare. That said I fully vibed this and think it's almost as good as other Kiyoshi Kurosawa bangers.Translated from by
