  Shyamalan’s greatest – hands down. The closest I’ve felt in recent years to watching this movie as a child was the hysteria of the 2020 election – of which this film is a spiritual predecessor. 

  Horror mediated by images, or the horror of signs. Watching your world fall apart on the TV screen, in a closet, with a tinfoil hat or following the signs which God communicates in our lives. Both are a horror, only one, the latter, is beautiful…
