I’m sleepy after watching what felt like a series long movie. Meaning it dragged on BUT it’s still a nice film to throw on when you want to provoke emotion from someone.
I know a certain demographic will get tired of the “cop is bad guy” trope….but you know what imma just leave that alone.
I was not expecting to like this movie as much as I did. Granted, I saw it in 4D. The film managed to tap into everyone’s favorite nostalgic nerve, and supplies you with enough charm to carry some of the lazy writing.
The end is my biggest gripe with the film. Reminds me of a show’s season finale; with its open ended conclusion fueling rumors of a 3rd installment.
Overall I’d gladly throw this on around Halloween to get in the spirit.
