  My first Studio Ghibli movie. I had to rewatch the big tree scene just because I loved it so much. And I mean… the animation… the score…?? Too. Good.  The sister’s s relationship reminds me so much of my own.  It feels like a child wrote the dialogue in the best way possible. While the story is riddled with magic and creatures, the humanity of the whole thing is utterly believable.
