Spider 2002
Honestly, when I came home after seeing this last night, I was thinking "meh I'll probably forget about this very quickly." After reflection, I am really starting to appreciate how Cronenberg approaches memory and trauma in this film. Its nice to see him slow down and really focus on the inner workings of a character, without relying on shock and spectacle. I understand how this one is not for everyone, but once you take a step back and relate to the film, I think it becomes a much richer experience.
