A town obsessed with Moby Dick. A creepily elitist Father-in-law, who is weirdly obsessed with his one daughter above everyone else. A kleptomaniac wannabe gangster kid. A recovering alcoholic Mother-in-law who secretly gets high on shroom-juice and the only "normal" person in the family being the sister-in-law. Craig Robinson and Michael Barrets characters really hold this film up. Like Atlas holding the world, They hold up the Peeples Boat of Batshit craziness. The teepee scene and the shroom tripping scene…

The Wolf of Wall Street 2013
If excess was a movie, it would be The Wolf of Wall Street. Three hours of absolute madness—booze, drugs, yachts, and Leonardo DiCaprio giving one of the most unhinged performances of his career. Every scene is electric, every character is awful in the best way, and somehow, it’s all hilarious. Scorsese knew exactly what he was doing, making crime look this fun and entertaining while quietly reminding you it all comes crashing down, eventually.

This is exactly what you’d expect from a Guy Ritchie film—fast-talking geezers, backstabbing deals, and stylish editing. It’s got all the signature elements that make his movies fun to watch, but at the same time, it does feel like every other one of his films. The structure is nearly identical to Snatch and Lock, Stock, so while it’s a good time, it doesn’t really do anything new.
