  A great movie. This is what I wanted hereditary to be and god am I thrilled this was what I was looking for. Great attention to detail, with an amazing monster as a metaphor and characterization for grief. Not to mention, the attention to detail to write the plot as the five stages of grief is just incredible. Evoking Hitchcock type images and a cutting and framing style to old horror films, this one really does ids homework in fitting in with the other great horror films while bringing something new to the table.
