The Golden Glove 2019
Unfortunately, Fatih Akin ignored Heinz Strunk's central message by basically reproducing nothing of the analogy/similarities between rich upper class and lowest class, thereby missing the point that depravity is independent of social status.
Still, it's one of my favourite German movies given the perfect and horrible depiction of the intense and insane dispair and gruesomeness Strunk manages to reproduce in his display of hamburg's 70s precarious/alcoholics milieu.
For germanophones, I highly recommend both reading Strunk's book and listening to the audiobook (read by himself, which surprisingly works even for this book). Both are even more haunting than the movie.

Slash/Back 2022
Kinda cool to cast amateurs but really kills all the acting. The kids were all just terrible at this.
Apart from that, potentially (i.e., if accurate) an interesting insight into contemporary Inuit youth (e.g. wording such as the girls calling each other "this chick") of which I know about nothing.
Also really cool alien footage (yet rather little of it), beautiful landscapes, and an interesting (not great but interesting) soundtrack . But yeah, due to the embarrassingly shit acting plus a pretty boring plot this was not too great.Translated from by
