This was one of the first movies I watched when I started getting into movies as a teen and this is my first time seeing it since then, about 5 or 6 years later. This rewatch really gave me an appreciation for just how impressive of a feature film this is. Nance's performance is also endlessly impressive in it's physicality taking from the likes of Chaplin. Nance's stature and walk all convey this feeling of a child who just so happens to be an adult all of a sudden and has to deal with adult decisions.
If anything it's just nice to have a recent movie that's a family movie but not a kids movie.
