After watching the trailer for this one, I was pretty excited to see it. I’ve been a fan of director Steven C. Miller’s work from the beginning and I really dig heist movies. I also wanted to see what Hayden Christensen would bring to the role. I haven’t seen him in anything since the prequels.

This one had a lot of buzz around the Oscars for Natalie Portman’s performance as Jackie Kennedy. After getting the chance to check it out, I will say that the buzz was well deserved. I think her performance was Oscar worthy and it is a shame she did not take home the award.

I enjoyed this one for the most part. It had decent acting, did a pretty good job building tension and good cinematography. Complaints are that the score used way too many stingers revealing the scares and that the ending was very vague. If you watch it, make sure to watch the credits all the way to the end. I may recommend this one.
I know this movie has a lot of hype behind it. Come on it’s nominated for quite a few Oscars, including Best Picture so it’s got to be great right? Well, I think it was a good movie, but I honestly don’t think it should be nominated for a Best Picture Oscar.
